Abstract
This article is devoted to the formation of common cultural competences of pedagogical high school students. The discipline "Foreign Language" is considered as means of formation of common cultural competences. The article deals with educational methods and techniques, which foreign language teachers use to form the common cultural competences of Volgograd State Pedagogical University students.
