Abstract
The given work is devoted to peculiarity of two mental domains: target domain and source domain. Appeal to the research of metaphor is due to the difficulty and multidimensional nature of this linguistic phenomenon, the necessity to investigate metaphor in different local areas of knowledge. For this aim especially relevant is the exploration of vocal metaphors as a special kind of metaphor, the attempt to analyze underlying mechanisms of the vocal metaphor's forming.
