THE ROLE OF CIVIC IDENTITY IN THE STRUCTURE OF SOCIAL CAPITAL

Abstract
The article reveals the substantial nature of the relationship of civic identity and social capital. The basis of social capital are positive indicators of interaction between people and different social groups: trust, honesty, their unity and solidarity. Characteristics of social capital plays an important role in the formation of civic identity, which is implemented in civil practice, based on freedom of choice, personal responsibility.
