Abstract
The author analyzes the problem of the “ideal”, and the debate that arose around this problem in Soviet philosophy. The author explores the importance of the dispute for the “ideal” understanding of the problem at the present stage, and phenomenon of the “ideal” in the context of transition to information society and virtualization of being.
