Abstract
The article presents the results of studying coping behavior and psychosocial adaptation of patients with incurable kidney disease, are on renal replacement therapy with hemodialysis, in connection with the social environment and a period of illness. The study extends existing in the social psychology of beliefs about the social environment as a factor of the person coping with a difficult life situation.
