Abstract
The article considers the breast plate plaques of Abramovsky burial, which are chronological indicators. The early forms of plaques are presented by decorations with a round hole in the centre and a radial slot. Judging by planigraphy, they existed along with later forms, which is typical for the Ryazan-Oka cemeteries. For its size Abramovsky` plaques are categorized as head ones, but they were used by the local population as the pectorals. At the beginning of the VI centure plaques with overlays were driven by badges with round hole in the centre, covered with a tongue-lid
