Abstract
This article focuses on the development of relations between Russia and the European Union in the energy sector during the following period. This study shows the complexity and ambiguity of the energy dialogue, as well as the presence of unresolved problems by 2008. In connection with the present situation, this topic is most relevant, since it clearly shows the development of the problem from the beginning of bilateral cooperation in this field and acknowledges the interdependence of countries.
