Abstract
The article describes one of the arguments dissertation Boris Nimanov, showing inattention of the Russian authorities to the prisoners of the enemy at period of the First world war 1914–1918. The author of the article concludes that this argument is not supported by documents Archival Fund of the Russian Federation, not the logic of systems of governance of the Russian Empire and contrary to common sense.
