Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of explaining the ergonomics of its "subject" and "object". The author reveals the objectives and issues of ergonomics. Discusses the reasons of origin and formation of ergonomics. In addition, analyzes of ergonomics interconnectedness with other sciences and the scope of its application.
