Abstract
In the article the problem of development of the written professional directed foreign-language communication by students of not language higher education institution is considered. Three main objectives of mastering written foreign-language communication are allocated: improvement of the language command, implementation of written communication with friends and partners, fixing and systematization of scientific ideas. Examples of the written tasks constructed on the basis of economic lexicon are given.
