Abstract
The article contains a brief characteristics of the original scientific-technical literature, recommendations on mastering the skills of translation of this kind of literature on the German language material. It was made an attempt to give an overview of the problems which are to be solved during the translation process and the difficulties in vocabulary and grammar arising due to structural differences of the two languages and which a translator inevitably faces with.
