Abstract
The analysis of the leading components of the content of foreign language training is presented in the article. Three groups of the all-educational competences formed in the course of training in a foreign language are allocated: educational and intellectual competences, educational and information competences, educational and communicative competences. Types of speech communication, priority for the profile professional focused course of a foreign language, are considered.
