THE MEANING ON THE HORIZON OF SIGNIFICANCE IN STRUCTURALIST METHODOLOGICAL DISCOURSE

Abstract
The article deals with the role and specificity of structuralist guidelines in methodology of the human sciences. The content of the concept of meaning in relation to significance is defined in the context of a sign nature of objects of the human cognition. The advantages and disadvantages of the structuralist approach are analyzed. The potential of structuralist methodology for the human sciences is revealed.
