Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of folk tradition in the works by Yesenin. The question of the folk tradition in the early works of the poet, in the "little poems." Much attention is paid to the interaction of folklore and myth. Brought to analyze texts Mayakovsky, Tsvetaeva, Voltaire. A literary and cultural context allows one to look at the Esenin's poetics.
