Abstract
This work sanctifies the state of the industry of the city Volkovysk in the interwar period. Economic development Western Belarus region within the Commonwealth uniquely interpreted in domestic and Polish historiography. The work aims to show the point of view of Belarusian historians on the economic processes of the period. The relevance of the article is a study of the city's industry Volkovysk interwar time. So far, work in this direction was carried out.
We use archival sources from Grodno, Belarus and Polish historical literature.
