COLOR CONNOTATION IN ENGLISH AND RUSSIAN PROVERBS

Abstract
The paper discusses the problem of color connotation in English and Russian proverbs. It compares and analyzes color meanings in two different lingvo-cultures. The peculiarities of warm and cool colors in English and Russian are described.
