Abstract
After switching on the Belarusian lands in the Russian Empire manufactories began to develop more rapidly. This was due to an increase in market and economic risk reduction. Manufactory in Volkovisskij County appeared in the landed estates as distillery production during the time of the Commonwealth, but the development of sectoral production began only after the entry into Russia. Problem manufacture into Belarusian historiography studied quite well. However, this concerns mainly the large manufactories, which played an important role in economic development at the level of provinces.
Relevance of the present work is that we investigate smaller enterprises that provided employment at the level of towns and cities. Therefore, the basic data on the organization of factories on the territory of the county Volkovysk taken from archival sources.
