Abstract
The urgency and the importance of promoting the use of mathematical methods in teaching science at the present time are determined by their capacity to obtain objective information about the complex of pedagogical processes.
This article deals with the problem connected with the General questions of application of a mathematical apparatus in pedagogy. The ambiguity of pedagogical terminology, as well as the complexity of the subject matter imposes restrictions on the use of mathematical methods, so using the mathematical apparatus in pedagogy is possible only with strict regard for the specifics.
