Abstract
The article describes and analyzes the possibility of applying poststructuralist methodology in modern sociological studies of culture. Main feature of the poststructuralist epistemology is a special understanding of the nature of social reality as a set of unrelated fragments. Because of what, any holistic formation in the social sphere should be seen as artificially generated phenomenon, as the amount initially contradictory fragments linked by social practices. Interpretation of culture in terms of the theory of practice and the poststructuralist methodology is extremely promising, corresponding to the current debates of cultural dynamics and cultural transformations and hybridization.
