Abstract
The article describes the role and place of the Kursk region in the process of evacuation, internment and repatriation of prisoners of the Ottoman period Russian-Turkish war of 1735-1739. The author covers the issues of food, apartment, financial and other types of support the Turks, compares data on the number of prisoners in the region and in other parts of the country, provides concrete evidence of naturalization Ottoman in settlements of province.
