Abstract
During past twenty years the South Korea republic has steadily grown more multicultural due to an influx initially of labor migrants, and then of “female marriage migrants” from China, the Philippines, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, and Cambodia. The main principle of multicultural education in the South Korea republic follows the intercultural education model adopted by the United States and proceeds from the notion of the differences’ tolerance. Leading the world over twenty years in migrants’ rights protection, the South Korean right defending organizations have come across a necessity of reflecting the cultural influence rendered by a broad variety of social services and multicultural programs.
