Abstract
The first time in the national historiography reveals the timing, terms and features of the formation of the 1st Infantry Regiment of the Turkish Red Army, analyzes the level of training and the political and moral state of its personnel, shows the relationship of command of the regiment with the leadership of the Soviet Red Army before and during an operation in Zangezur and reconstructs in detail the combat path of this military unit.
