Abstract
In this paper we have tried to illustrate the Atlantis in Plato's dialogues. The author, in the course of work was prepared to accept that he has to deal with literally unmanageable mass of material, including those in the areas in which it is not in a position to critically evaluate, and with a mass of mythological subjects, which were common themes (cyclical stories, the death of civilization as a result of global disasters), also an understanding that such work was not offered anything new to the study of this issue, even though it was not the fault of the author, and because of the natural impasse that can only be resolved by practical researches - only the material object is able to convince the skeptics, provided if they will not stand on its own skepticism.
