Abstract
Anna Barkova is a poetess of XX century. Her literary heritage has recently started to come back to the readers. Anna Barkova was subjected to three repressions and spent 21 years in all in the precincts of the Gulag. This article focuses on the artistic evolution of the poetess and lifts the veil upon some pages of her biography.
