Abstract
In articles devoted to the theatre Nabokov defines the tasks of the non-rational modernist theatre. The writer criticizes the principles of realistic drama and tells about the necessity of creating new art which is not related to reality and is the perfect game and replaces authentic life and the man becomes the actor.
