Abstract
One of the important elements of fighter gear is worn entrenching tool - a small infantry shovel. The history of this instrument consists of a half-century. During this time, it designed and made to supply a sufficiently large number of different modifications infantry blades: both successful and unsuccessful. The article deals with the main ones.
