Abstract
The article describes the practice of verifying verbal logic models category "development" and "self-development", updated categorical apparatus, recorded examples of innovative pedagogical simulations revealed the nuances of specific definitions of the categories of "development" and "self-development" in the structure of learning the basics of modern teaching methodology.
