FORMATION OF LINGUO-PROFESSIONAL APPROACH TO TRAINING LPP TEACHERS

Abstract
The article characterizes modern pedagogical approaches and substantiates the development of interdisciplinary linguo-professional approach to training teachers of Language for Professional Purposes (LPP). Objectives and tasks of linguo-professional approach among other pedagogical approaches applied in Russian tertiary education are analyzed. Key principles of the above approach to forming LPP teachers’ linguo-professional competence during teacher training course are listed and grounded.
