LEATHER PRODUCTION OF ALTAY POPULATION IN SCYTHIAN AND HUN-SARMATIAN TIME

Abstract
In the article presents the results of the study the leather production of Altay population in Scythian and Hun-Sarmatian epochs. The study examined the leather and fur products and leather-working tools found in archaeological sites. The archaeological materials show that the ancient population of the Altai knew how to highly skillful and carefully handle various types of skin. And they used a variety of techniques to the manufacture of leather and fur products.
