Abstract
In this article is carried out the comparative analysis of Venedikt Erofeyev and Francois Rabelais creativity on the example of the works «Moscow — Petushki» and «Gargantua and Pantagruell». In the course of the conducted research special attention is paid to specifics of humanity ideas development in each of authors creativity as in a direct binding to a certain historical period, and without that. An attempt to reveal philosophical sense of a travel in each of these works is made.
