Abstract
The article reveals the peculiarities of imagination and originality of thinking among boys and girls of preschool age. Presents the results of empirical research on the problem under study with a brief description of the organization of a formative experiment for the development of imagination and originality of thinking of children attending preparatory group of the kindergarten.
