Abstract
This paper discusses the cultural ties between Yakutia and France in the framework of Russian-French cultural ties. International cultural relations are irreplaceable instruments of foreign policy. Russian-French relations have centuries-long history, where there were periods and pauses, and confrontation, but the culture is fundamental in favorable development of bilateral relations. Yakutia as a fast-growing region attracts not only with its national-cultural exoticism, but also historical, ancient, archaeological, scientific research and discoveries. Because today, in the age of innovations and high technologies, in the age of civilization, Yakuts continue to preserve their identity, culture, handed down from generation to generation of life stories, the experience of ancestors, traditions and customs, holidays. Currently, Yakutia and France a number of joint projects in the field of education, art, cinema, music and literature.
