INTERGENERATIONAL RELATIONS IN A MODERN RUSSIAN FAMILY

Abstract
The article describes the features of intra-family intergenerational relations according to sociological studies ISEDT RAS. problem analysis showed that the relationship between the generations, the continuity of experience are essential. The relationship between parents and children is largely determined by the level of parents welfare and the availability of their free time. Requirements relating to the maintenance of a secure existence, weakens with age, great importance attaches to the processes of assimilation of norms and patterns of behavior. As children get older there is increase in the proportion of families where there is no mutual understanding between parents and children, reduce the frequency and duration of inter-generational communication and diversity.
