Abstract
The article is devoted to problems of increase of labour productivity in Russia. Growth rates of labor productivity are analysed by types of economic activity. On the basis of the conducted analysis the author identifies the need for an active policy in the field of employment, increase jobs, of improve the quality of vocational education, of the impact of business environment and etc.
