PERCEPTION OF MEDIA MESSAGES BY RUSSIAN, AMERICAN AND GERMAN RECIPIENTS

Abstract
This article deals with specifics of the perception of media messages according to the fascination and information criteria. The basis of the research is Muskhelishvili and Schreider theory about the leading role of fascination for the recipient of a message. Messages from the Russian, American and German Mass Media on the topic of refugees represent the material of the research. The research focuses on following aspects: balance between information and influence in Mass Media messages; means of fascination in messages; factors influencing the recipient's trust and interest in the information; evaluation of refugees in Russian, American and German Mass Media.
