Abstract
The paper presents a series of steps to transform the «Channel One» Cup on hockey in the main European (International) tournament for national teams, which will be really interesting for the fans, but will also promote the brand of the Russian hockey in the international arena. This work may be of interest to all those interested in the theory and practice of PR in the sports field.
