Abstract
Leisure plays an integral role in the social life of people. Status of this field is a clear indicator of the development of all areas in society: the higher the level of welfare of the population, the more varied and wider organized leisure activities. Were at a turning point in the second half of XIX – early XX centuries, Tobolsk province has experienced a strong transformation, including significant changes affected the sphere of leisure of townspeople.
