MATERIAL AND FINANCIAL SECURITY OF JUDGES AS A GUARANTEE OF THE PRINCIPLE OF JUDICIAL INDEPENDENCE

Abstract
The principle of judicial independence is realized by respecting the independence of the state guarantees, including material and financial security of judges. Compliance with the above allows the judge to successfully perform a particular function entrusted to it by society and the state, namely the function of administration of justice. Currently, however, not all legislative requirements with respect to material and financial security of judges are respected and properly provided that raises questions on the part of the judicial community bodies and judges directly. The above problems threaten, in particular to ensure the principle of judicial independence.
