ROLE GLINSKY HERMITAGE IN THE ORIGIN AND DEVELOPMENT OF AN ELDER OF GETHSEMANE SKETE

Abstract
XIX century in Russia was marked by the flowering of the Orthodox monastic life. Going on the basis of the number of new dwellings, including the Gethsemane skete of St. Sergius Lavra, who became, later, known far outside the country of their elders. By the time of the founding of the monastery, in Russia, there were several Orthodox spiritual senile centers, the influence of the pupils of one of them (Glinsky Christmas-Bogoroditsky Hermitage cenobitic Kursk diocese) on the formation of the "school" of eldership in the Gethsemane skete and is discussed in this article.
