Abstract
This article discusses the status of Muslim women in contemporary society. Since Islam and Islamic law had a profound influence on the history of the state and the right of a number of states, in particular, the position of human rights and freedoms, the status of women in society. The position of women in Islam is not only a measure of civilization of a society, but also evidence of its potential for evolutionary development, a barometer in determining the prospects for change.
