Abstract
The article describes the use of pedagogical modeling and scientific and pedagogical research to clarify the categorical apparatus of modern pedagogy. The article describes the stages of vocational education, higher professional education in the model of training undergraduate and postgraduate studies, the defining features of the determination of the categorical and conceptual apparatus in accordance with the needs and possibilities of the individual and society.
