Abstract
There is the legal assessment of the problem of determining the place and of the confrontation as an investigative action in criminal proceedings in topic. A review of criminal procedural law and academic lawyer’s points of view devoted to this issue. There are no guarantees that the criminal investigation no material contradictions in the testimony of persons. In this connection, the investigator comes to the inquiry in the investigation.
