Abstract
The article presents a content analysis features of mastering foreign-language speaking skills of children of primary school age who have mental retardation. It covers the main aspects of foreign language teaching these children. Characterized by difficulty in learning a foreign language children with marked pathology. It is concluded that the main way to help children with mental delay in learning a foreign language is that would, along with the development of the material occurs help in mastering their own intellectual activity and its structural components.
