Abstract
The article is devoted to genesis and sociodynamics of Zapatista Army of National Liberation, which represents an example of a new mode of political action. The article analyzes the distinctive features of the EZLN in comparison with armed left-wing radical organizations in Latin America and the social movements. Particular attention is paid to the organizational structure of the Zapatistas and the mechanism of decision-making within the organization.
