THE CHRONOLOGY OF LAPEL BADGES FROM ABRAMOVSKY BURIAL OF THE ANCIENT MORDOVIANS

Abstract
The article considers the breast plate plaques of Abramovsky burial, which are the chronological indicators. Early forms of plaques are presented by decorations with a round hole in the centre and the rod-shaped tongue, the body of which is made from a single sheet. They are dated the first half of the IV century. At the same time, plaques appeared, body of which are formed by converging blades. Central holes in them are partially covered with round cap. From the middle of the IV century until the end of the V century plaques with rhombic cover existed on the burial ground. In the last third of the VI century, six cap badges appeared here and they exist here before the beginning of the VII century.
