Abstract
In the article the historical features of influence the American factor on the process of participation Great Britain in the Foreign and security policy of EU in the context of development and transformation American-British «special relations» on the border of ХХ – ХХI centuries are considered. The special attention is accented on the European policy of modern British government in the context of modern international processes and interests of USA.
