THE ROLE OF EDUCATIONAL COMPETENCE OF ENTRANTS IN THEIR READINESS TO TAKE A COURSE AT HIGH SCHOOL

Abstract
The article deals with the concept of psychological readiness for activity, readiness to take a course at high school, competence, educational competence. We understand, that the educational competence is the personal formation, that allows the entrant to choose his own educational trajectories and efficiently assimilate an educational program consciously and without assistance. At the theoretical level it is proved that the educational competence of the school leaver can be regarded as one of the conditions of his readiness to take a course at high school. It can be explained by the fact that relation to education, ability to learn and organize activities determines the success of adaptation and effectiveness of educational and professional activities at the university.
