Abstract
This article is devoted to the culture heritage’s modern problems. The multicultural societies’ influence on the choice of preservation strategies is regarded; the questions of cultural masterpieces’ renovation and cultural understanding are stated. The accent on symbolic and consolidating role of the UNESCO Convention is made.
