Abstract
This article is devoted to the problem of isolating and measuring the components of the mentality of students. Examines approaches to addressing the economic mentality: cross-cultural, historical, psychological and socio-cultural. Applied technique to measure values, meanings and consumer economic behavior in a sample of 160 people. The types of economic mentality of students : traditional, individualistic , spiritual and material .
