Abstract
Presents a historical analysis of the formation of moral values in Russia during the XVI - beginning of the XVIII century. It is shown that in this period, access to education have become simple free christians.Although the fear of God and piety firmly remained priority values in this historical period, but was beginning to change the understanding of values such as case and learning. At this time the leading value began to take a real merits of a person, his experience and knowledge
